A favicon is a small image shown next to the address bar in your browser. The name is short for "Favorites icon" and is also displayed in bookmarks, tabs and links. Put simply, it is a nice way to make your website more recognizable.

How to design your own Favicon

• On the external service favicon.cc you can create your own favicon.
• Using a picture editor such as Adobe Photoshop, use sizes 16x16 px or 32x32 px, save as .png and use ConvertICO to convert the file into .ico.

Step by step guide

Step 1: Go to Advanced Settings in the Control Panel

Step 2: Upload your favicon

In the Advanced Settings, scroll down until you reach the Favicon field. Then click the Choose Icon button.
